About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Labor & Employment Law department. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is ready to take ownership of case management from start to finish. The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and passionate about supporting high-quality legal work on behalf of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Drafting: Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, correspondence, and other litigation documents
  • Filing: Manage e-filing and court filings, ensuring compliance with court rules, deadlines, and local procedures
  • Client Contact: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing case updates and gathering necessary information with professionalism and discretion
  • Discovery: Manage all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, production, and organization of exhibits
  • Case Management: Take ownership of assigned cases, tracking deadlines, coordinating with attorneys, and anticipating case needs
  • General Support: Assist attorneys with trial preparation, deposition summaries, and case strategy as needed
Qualifications
  • Litigation experience required (Labor & Employment experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong legal drafting and writing skills
  • Working knowledge of discovery procedures and civil litigation rules
  • Experience with e-filing systems and court procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in a client-facing capacity
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
